Swallowing speed takes a little longer to come on than other methods of ingestion, but apart from leaving a very bitter taste in your mouth, it is by far the safest.

Taking drugs orally has the added advantage of having absolutely No Risk of transmission of a blood borne viruses such as Hep C or HIV/AIDS.

Swallowing, bombing or drinking speed can damage your throat and stomach (especially an empty stomach). Potential damage to your stomach is easily avoided by having something substantial to eat before swallowing your drugs, or by wrapping your drugs in a cigarette paper, or placing it inside a small piece of bread and washing it down with plenty of water.

Taking methamphetamines orally is far safer than snorting, smoking or injecting, as the stomach can deal with acidic substances better than your nose, throat or veins. Also, your body has an in-built mechanism to deal with harmful or dangerous substances that are swallowed - you throw up.

Bumping or snorting, particularily over a long period of time (though it can happen at any time), can also lead to health issues such as nosebleeds, sinus problems and permanent damage inside the nose.
