Watch out for...
Blood on fingers
Blood on tourniquets
Blood awareness; more than just thinking about blood and/or potential blood spills. It's considering that the hepatitis C virus can live in the tiniest amount of blood that may not be visible to the human eye. That injecting others and being injected by others has potential risks in itself and these need to be weighed up when making decisions around injecting. Injecting happens in different contexts, in different situation and with different risks of transmission and harm. Whether you are injecting at home, in a park or at a venue, it's possible to be prepared, think ahead, be aware or risk and lessen the chances of any 'nasties' happening - to you and to your friends.
